Striped Saddlebags

This is the Striped Saddlebags Dragonfly, Tramea calverti. This individual was photographed on an early fall day at a local wildlife area in western Riverside County, California. This is interesting, because only a handful of records have been made of this dragonfly in California, and I think this is the only one in Riverside County.
