Today is a great day to be outside with your mother, thanking her for all she’s done for you over the years. I’d particularly like to thank my own mother, for always supporting my dreams, and my wife Stephanie for being a fantastic mother to our son, and wife to me.
Hope your day is a fantastic one!
These are some portraits I took of the irises I got my wife for Mother’s Day. I took them in our kitchen, and of course Owen had to help…enjoy!
Nice shots of the irises. But then, how could you miss with an able assistant like that?
Beautiful images of the irises. Your assistant may have a future in photography. Nice top of the blog banner photographs too. Sometimes change in and of itself is good. I went into the supermarket in Bishop looking for a restroom. I spotted a lady who worked there and someone had just wished her happy Mother’s Day. So I started by wishing her happy mother’s day too. Because I paused and she had no idea why I was approaching her, she decided the best thing to do was to wish me happy Mother’s Day too before I asked her where the restroom was. I felt sort of happy that someone had given me well-wishes on that day because I no longer have my own mother and was not around any other mothers the whole day. Besides, it made a good story to tell a friend who said she had received a Mother’s Day card from her dog, through her husband.
