The Colorado Plateau Province encompasses most of southern Utah, northern Arizona, as well as parts of southwestern Colorado and northwestern New Mexico; much of the Plateau is drained by the Colorado River. When people think of the Southwestern United States, they often think of the Plateau; it is after all one of the most beautiful places on the planet. This is well illustrated by the ten national parks and seventeen national monuments found there. It is a place of uncommon grace and tranquility, and I hope these images convey those feelings.
