White House Ruin is probably the best known ruin inside of Canyon de Chelly in northern Arizona. Canyon de Chelly is part of a national monument of the same name, which contains several other Ancestral Puebloan ruins and rock art as well. The monument is unique because it is co-managed by the National Park Service and the Navajo Nation; many Navajo families still make their home on the rim of the canyon and graze sheep inside, under the shadow of these ruins.
