In one of my favorite stories from the Icelandic sagas, the well-meaning (but often ill-tempered) hero Grettir The Strong wrestles a she-troll to death underneath a waterfall. As I made this image, the icicles hanging from the rock reminded me of the jagged teeth I envisioned the she-troll might have been trying to sink into Grettir during their battle.
