Occupying 8300 acres in northern Riverside County,the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve protects unique ecosystems like Engelmann oak woodlands, riparian wetlands, coastal sage scrub, chaparral, bunchgrass prairie and vernal pools.
