Slot canyons give a feeling of a sense of place that is both temporal and spatial. Not only does their scale remind us of our true size (as well as the true size of our worries and problems), but understanding that the weathering of the walls took place over millions of years again is a reminder of the short time we have to spend on the planet.
They’re even beautiful in monochrome.
