Fine Art Prints Licensing For Students
Fine Art Prints
Art is a gift–to yourself or someone else–that can be enjoyed every day. Viewing art reduces stress and improves mental health. I believe this is especially true of landscape photography, because spending time in or with nature has been shown to alter brain activity patterns, reducing physiological stress.
Purchasing artwork should be a personal experience. If you’d like to order a print, please contact me. Standard print pricing is below, but please note that some of the images on my website are not “standard” sizes (e.g. some of the panoramic images would be an ‘odd’ size), and pricing will vary. Similarly, if you are interested in one of my images on an alternative medium (e.g. canvas or metal), I can arrange that as well. Regardless of your question, feel free to start a conversation over email so we can discuss all considerations regarding your art purchase.
All of my prints are made on archival quality paper, which comes in a variety of finishes such as luster, matte, gloss, or pearl. Color prints are made on a state-of-the-art inkjet printer, and black and white prints are actually digitally projected and exposed on photographic paper. I guarantee prints for life against fading, when displayed properly. | 5 x 7 = $25 |
8 x 12 = $45 | |
11 x 16 = $85 | |
12 x 18 = $125 | |
16 x 24 = $185 | |
20 x 30 = $250 |
If you choose to pay by PayPal, you may order by initiating a payment to alpenglowimages@gmail.com. If you pay by another method, contact me. Because I use a third-party printer for most prints, my goal is to deliver your order within two weeks of initiation.
If you are working on an interior design project, and are considering my art for your environment, please contact me. I offer free sample prints for color matching and room planning, as well as flexibility in crops and aspect ratios to fit your needs.
Licensing
To contribute to the success of your project, I am happy to license any of my images to you. Rather than sell the image itself to you, I sell you the rights to use the image for your purposes, for an agreed upon fee. This rights-managed form of licensing is how I license my images, and the terms of the licensing is between you and I. I offer discounted pricing for projects that license more than one of my images. However, in order for me to quote you a fee, I need to know a few things:
-
What type of project is it?
-
What size will it be used at?
-
If the project is printed, how large is the circulation?
-
Is the project international, or domestic?
-
In what languages will the project be distributed?
Your images will be delivered electronically, usually by download from my website.
For Students
I have had many students ask to use my images in reports. If you are a student, you may use any image appearing on my website for printed reports only, provided that the image is not altered in any way, the image is reproduced in printed form only, and that you give me credit for the image.
